Krystal Waldo, Ph.D
Dr. Waldo is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Waldo received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Louisiana State University. She completed her APA-accredited internship in Clinical Psychology at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center and an APA-accredited postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology at the Pittsburgh VA Healthcare System.
Dr. Waldo utilizes evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based interventions including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dr. Waldo’s professional interests include working with children, adolescents, and adults with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, chronic illness, sleep disorders, eating disorders, and stress management.
Dr. Waldo is particularly passionate about using evidence-based therapies within a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment. She encourages patients to make positive behavior changes to achieve their goals while recognizing that each patient is unique and tailoring treatment to meet their unique needs.
