Dr. Czechowski is a clinical psychologist specializing in pediatric health psychology and psychological assessment. She received her masters and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Czechowski completed a one-year internship in clinical psychology at Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health in Canton, Ohio. Thereafter, she pursued specialized training in pediatric health psychology through a two-year post-doctoral fellowship with Michigan State University at Hurley Medical Center. Dr. Czechowski’s graduate school, internship, and post-doctoral fellowship training were all accredited by the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Czechowski’s professional interests include working with children and adolescents with chronic medical conditions and co-occurring mood and anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, disruptive behavior disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and autism spectrum disorder. Dr. Czechowski utilizes evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychoeducation, Mindfulness, and Systemic Therapy. Dr. Czechowski is highly committed and passionate about working with children and their families and assisting them in reaching their mental health goals.
