The Seven Principles Program format includes lectures and private couple exercises. Participants will not share their personal problems with others.

The workshop includes the book, “Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work,” by John Gottman; 2 Gottman Couple’s Workshop Guides, 8 hours of interactive education, morning and afternoon refreshments.

Research Based Help for Couples: This program is based on John Gottman’s 4 decades of research on relationships. This program will provide couples with practical tools to enhance and improve their relationships while understanding the research-based foundation from which they are derived. This Program is appropriate for: • Dating couples • Engaged couples • Newlyweds • Couples married for decades • Those wishing to enhance a good marriage • Those needing better conflict management tools This Program is not appropriate for: Couples with severe relationship distress, mental health problems, significant emotional or physical abuse, relationships where one or both partners are addicted to drugs, alcohol, or other compulsive behavior
