Approach to Treatment 

Treatment with Dr. Roth focuses not only on the child, but the whole picture including their home and school environments. She ensures that when kids master the evidence-based skills learned in sessions, their caregivers also have the skills and confidence to support them. Well known for her expertise in sleep and anxiety for children, Dr. Roth addresses a wide range of childhood concerns and provides insight and support to parents. She brings warmth and a sense of humor to make her clients comfortable, but she is also straight forward and frank to encourage compliance with treatment goals and true progress toward improvement and growth.

  • Anxiety, OCD, selective mutism and difficult and disordered sleep

  • Dr. Roth utilizes evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure response prevention (ERP), parent management training (PMT) and cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I).

  • Age Range: Children and adolescents ages 3-18.

Experience and Training

Dr. Roth graduated with her doctorate in school psychology/clinical child psychology from Yeshiva University/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2014. She has over ten years of experience treating children in various settings including private practice, hospitals and schools.

More about Me

Dr. Roth lives in Plymouth with her husband and two kids. As a mother of two, Dr. Roth knows how challenging parenting can be today. As she likes to tell her client’s parents, kids don’t come home from the hospital with a manual, it is ok to ask for help.
