Lisa is a Limited Licensed Psychologist who completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Madonna University. She provides individual, family and group therapy to children and adolescents using evidenced based treatments such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. She also provides psychoeducational assessments for children and adolescents to evaluate strengths and weaknesses, determine an accurate diagnosis, and develop a treatment plan to guide psychological and educational interventions.
Lisa’s clinical interests include working with children with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She places a strong emphasis on collaborating with parents as they are a vital part of their child/adolescent’s treatment.
Lisa completed advanced training and consultation through the Selective Mutism Group’s Selective Mutism Proficiency Program. Additionally, she has been a counselor and teacher since 2013 for Confident Kids Camp, an intensive week-long treatment program for children with Selective Mutism. She has previous experience working in the home with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorder to help them develop social skills, life skills and coping skills. Lisa previously worked with children through SandCastles, a grief support program to help children and families cope with the loss of a loved one.
