Title: Limited Licensed Psychologist

Approach to Treatment
Lisa is passionate about helping her patients learn to manage symptoms and problem-solve concerns. She places a strong emphasis on collaborating with parents, recognizing them as a vital part of their child’s care. Lisa’s treatment approach is highly individualized, tailored to meet each patient’s unique needs, and may include working in the community for exposure-based interventions or collaborating closely with schools.
Lisa focuses on providing concrete, evidence-based strategies that children and parents can use to overcome fears, cope with intense emotions, and change unhelpful behaviors. At the same time, she offers a supportive, nonjudgmental space for older children and teens who need someone they can trust to talk through life’s stressors. Lisa values rapport-building and strives to provide a positive, empowering experience for every family she serves.
In addition to her clinical work, Lisa created the Growing Resilience in Trying Times (GRITT) parent program. GRITT offers practical skills for parents seeking to understand and respond effectively to the impact of stressful childhood events. Through this program, parents learn strategies to provide a nurturing and stable environment, helping their children build resilience and thrive amidst life’s challenges.
