Approach to Treatment: Kara is passionate about relationship building and fostering safe and supportive environments for children and families. Her therapeutic practice incorporates humor, kindness, fun, and a positive, strengths-based approach to build connections with her clients and enhance the effectiveness of treatment. As a school psychologist by training, she is knowledgeable about how mental health and/or challenging behaviors impact a child’s ability to learn. She is passionate about promoting communication between parents, caregivers, teachers, and community members to support children across environments. She particularly enjoys early intervention and working with young children and their families to identify and address needs as soon as possible. She hopes to provide them skills and tools to learn and maintain positive behaviors as they grow and thrive.

Age Range: Children and adolescents ages 3-18
Experience and Training: Kara received her Master’s of Education in Applied Behavior Analysis from The University of Cincinnati (UC) in 2022, which informs her ecological-behavioral approach to treatment. She will graduate with her Ph.D. in School Psychology from UC in August 2026 after completing her internship.
More About Me: Kara enjoys spending time with her husband and family when she has time to visit them in Cincinnati. You can otherwise find her reading, writing, and playing table-top games or video games with her friends. She believes having a strong support system is important for everyone’s mental health.
