Victoria believes that strong relationships are at the heart of meaningful therapy. She emphasizes warmth, openness, and collaboration while creating a safe, supportive environment where children and families feel heard and empowered. Victoria partners closely with parents, schools, and other care providers to build a comprehensive support system that helps children achieve their goals across settings. She values each child's unique strengths and enjoys incorporating creative and expressive techniques, including art-based interventions, alongside evidence-based practices to foster emotional expression, communication, and resilience. Her approach is compassionate, individualized, and grounded in helping children and adolescents build confidence and lasting coping skills.

Victoria utilizes evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, trauma-focused interventions, and family-based approaches.

Age Range: Children and adolescents ages 5–18

Experience and Training:

Victoria earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2024 and is currently completing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Her clinical experience spans outpatient clinics, community mental health, inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry, and school- and community-based settings. She has provided individual, family, group, and milieu therapy while also completing comprehensive psychological evaluations. Victoria has specialized training in crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and trauma-informed care, and has extensive experience collaborating with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to support children and adolescents with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns.

More About Me:

When she's not working, Victoria enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible—especially hiking, biking, gardening, and rock climbing. She also loves reading, crafting, relaxing around a campfire with family and friends, traveling (her next destination is Alaska!), and spending time with her two young nephews.
