Dr. Becky Thomson earned her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Michigan State University in 2018 and has since focused her clinical work on supporting children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related school-based concerns. She is a licensed psychologist at Thriving Minds Behavioral Health and sees clients at the Chelsea office. Dr. Thomson has experience across a variety of treatment settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and public schools, and she brings a collaborative, systems-oriented perspective to her work with families.

Dr. Thomson has a particular interest and expertise in supporting families navigating school refusal. She works closely with parents and schools to understand the underlying causes of school avoidance and to implement evidence-based strategies that promote gradual re-engagement with learning.
