What are the overall fees and can it be billed to insurance?
The total cost of an intensive therapy program can vary depending on the specific services included and the total number of sessions. A common ballpark range may be from $4500-6000 without insurance. Because we are in-network with some insurance plans, it may be possible to bill part of the service to insurance. Be sure to carefully review the estimate our team shares with you, complete with insurance codes, copays, deductibles, etc. to have a clear idea of your anticipated costs.
(Typical range is between $5000-$6500 for local school intensive (can drive to/from school daily), and $8000-$9500 for non-local (I travel the Sunday before the intensive, stay in town throughout the week).)
Many families consider additional ways to offset costs, including:
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) or Health Saving Accounts (HSAs)
Support from extended family members or community connections
Speak with your insurance representative to determine if you can be reimbursed through out of network benefits
State or community level grants
Tax deductions
We are happy to help with any documentation you would need to secure insurance reimbursement and/or for parents’ employers under the family and medical leave act.
