Title: Limited Licensed Postdoctoral Fellow, Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Approach to Treatment  

Julia takes a compassionate approach to working with children, their families, and schools to advocate for the needs of children. She uses a kid- and family-friendly approach to teach children and their guardians’ how to implement and follow evidence-based interventions to help with overall success. Julia is passionate about creating culturally meaningful adaptations to interventions and involves families throughout the process. Julia enjoys incorporating children’s learned skills into play and community-based activities to go beyond the traditional office setting.

  • Julia implements evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Parent Management Training (PMT), and psychoeducational testing.

  • Age Range: Children and Adolescents ages 3-18. 

Experience and Training

Julia graduated with her doctorate in School Psychology from the University of Cincinnati in August 2023. She earned her M.Ed. in Foundations in Behavior Analysis in 2019 and has practiced as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2020.

More about Me

Julia is originally from Chicago, but currently lives in Ann Arbor with her husband, two cats, and puppy. She loves visiting her nephews back home and watching them learn to explore and interact with the world around them.
