Jenny Massaway is a doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Indianapolis with over a decade of experience supporting children and adolescents in a counseling psychology private practice. She specializes in helping young people facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns, with a particular focus on those also navigating the added complexities of chronic illness. Jenny’s professional interests lie at the intersection of pediatric mental health and medical conditions. She is dedicated to integrating health psychology into care, recognizing both the emotional toll of chronic illness and the importance of supporting the whole family in the process.

Experience and Training:
Jenny received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2015 and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Indianapolis and will graduate in 2026. Jenny has provided individual, group, and family therapy in outpatient, school, and hospital settings. She also has extensive training in psychological assessment, particularly for ADHD, autism, learning concerns, and mood disorders.

Outside of work and study, Jenny enjoys spending time with her nieces, nephews, and close friends. She is a passionate Detroit sports fan, stays active in her free time, and shares her home with two cats named after her favorite Marvel characters.
